The Evolution of Ecological Space in an Urban Agglomeration Based on a Suitability Evaluation and Cellular Automata Simulation

Changing and reconstructing the ecological space of urban agglomerations is inevitable for conservation a scientific problem that needs urgent attention from geography, ecology, rural planning. Using ArcGIS other software data processing, this study established spatial attribute database, constructed land use conversion matrix Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan (CZX) agglomeration’s space, quantitatively analyzed main changes in land. trained cellular automata model with predicted 2035 as threshold value, simulation research was presented by creating two scenarios distribution “Green Heart” area CZX agglomeration. The results were compared, constraining role suitability evaluation on evolution analyzed. This found total Green Heart saw rapid reduction, it that, 2035, will have decreased. Comparing proved hypothesis zoning reconstruction based can effectively protect ensure network functions are harnessed.
